Today several brave and talented skiers and snowboarders will risk life and limb by hucking their meat down a icy couloir filled with massive jumps. I am sure that many of them would rather *NOT* engage in an activity so obviously dangerous and foolhardy, but their corporate sponsors must be satisfied and Red Bull TV must livestream the carnage within the predetermined weather window. This shituation showcases a lot of what is long with modern extreme sports and the world as a whole: folks seemingly stuck doing dumb shit for the sake of someone else’s power and profit.
